Drawing our cubes.
At the start of term 1 we started to draw 3d objects.
We got 4 little cubes to put together then we had to draw the shapes up on a grin piece of paper, I found some of the shapes quite tricky but after a couple of shapes I definitely got the hand of it.
Drawing our cities.
We got another piece of dotted paper to help us draw the 3d shapes.
We had to try and get etleast nine miny shapes on our dotted paper, and then we had to make a road around all the shapes. I had quite a bit of fun doing it, I know that at the start I struggled but most of it was quite easy for me to picture how it needs to be on a lean.
Drawing our 3d houses.
We also got to draw our very own 3D house, we had to pick one of our shapes we did on our dotted page. Once we had picked on we got a bigger piece of dotted paper to draw our 3D house on our page. After we drew up our house we had to colour in our houses. Doing some of the essentials was a bit tricky, maybe stuff like the fences and plants and all those sort of things.
3D House Views:
We had to draw 3D house views for our 3D house, Well what we had to do was to draw a front view, side view, back view and the other side view. Then we had to cut them out stick them into our big sketch books with a pretty border around them, then we had to write down what sides they are. Here is a sample of my 3D House Views.
Pizza Graph:
We had to make a pizza on a A3 piece of paper, and draw a pizza on it, after that we had to pick 4 different toppings to put on our pizzas. After that we had to figure out how much each piece of topping was, and write it in a table that you had to set up yourself.
After everyone had figured out how much each piece of topping cost them, we had to add it up depending on how many pieces of each topping you had. Once we did that we then got something to work with to beable to figure out the prices of the pizzas. During the session as we went along, we had to colour aswell. Then we came back to the floor and we got prices for different sized pizzas, then we had to figure out how much our pizza was, but we had to figure it out by the prices up on the board, then we had to show working out on our pages to show we didn't copy someone elses or cheat using a calculater.
